Iran’s Foreign Ministry has designated the UK’s Royal Navy and Royal Air Force as terrorist organizations. The move comes as a response to what Tehran calls London’s hostile actions, Press TV reports.

Iran Hits Back at Britain With New Terror Designation
Iran’s Foreign Ministry has officially declared the United Kingdom’s Royal Navy and Royal Air Force terrorist organizations. Tehran says the step is a direct answer to Britain’s “hostile actions,” according to Iranian broadcaster Press TV.
What Iran’s Foreign Ministry Actually Said
Press TV shared the announcement on its Telegram channel. The statement reads: “The Iranian Foreign Ministry has announced retaliatory measures against “hostile actions by the United Kingdom,” designating MI6 (British intelligence) as a hostile organization, and the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force as terrorist organizations.”
Iran Accuses Britain of Backing US Israeli Military Action
Press TV also reported another key claim from Tehran. Iran’s Foreign Ministry says Britain handed over military bases and logistics support. These resources allegedly helped the US and Israel wage war against Iran.
This fresh designation follows weeks of rising friction between Tehran and London. Britain’s intelligence chief recently made serious accusations against Iran as well.
On October 13, MI5 director general accused Iran of plotting attacks on British military sites. That claim already strained relations between the two countries. This latest terrorist organization designation signals the standoff is deepening further.
