Air India announced the return of its codeshare partnership with Air Canada on Saturday. This pact paused during the global pandemic.

Partnership Resumes After Five Years
Air India declared on Saturday that it is restarting its codeshare ties with Air Canada. The pandemic forced a pause on this partnership. Under this new deal, passengers get more travel options. Travelers can now fly to Vancouver and London Heathrow easily. They can also access six other cities across Canada.
Seamless Travel on Single Ticket
Travelers can fly on both airlines using just one ticket. Air India will place its ‘AI’ code on Air Canada flights. This covers routes from Vancouver to Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal, and Halifax. It also includes flights from London Heathrow to Vancouver and Calgary.
Better Connectivity for Passengers
In return, Air Canada customers gain better access to Indian cities. They can fly via Delhi to Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kochi. Connectivity improves for Delhi and Mumbai via London Heathrow too. The release says this deal ensures a smooth journey for everyone.
