Trump Says the US Will Not Impose a Diesel Export Ban

President Donald Trump has ruled out a diesel export ban. He says Washington never planned such a move.

Trump drops plans for a diesel export ban

US President Donald Trump has said the country is giving up plans for a diesel export ban. He made the announcement in remarks to reporters.

Trump speaks before flying to Alabama

Trump spoke to journalists just before he left for Alabama. He said:

“We are not going to introduce a ban on exports (of diesel fuel, editor’s note). We never intended to do that.”

His words leave no room for a diesel export ban.
