Iran Still Drafting Its Own Text for a Potential Peace Deal With the US

Tehran has not yet sent its response to Washington as negotiations continue under Pakistan’s mediation.

Iran Still Shaping Its Side of the Deal

Tehran is still working on its own version of a possible agreement with the United States one that could formally bring the ongoing conflict to a close. A source cited by Iran’s Mehr news agency confirmed this noting that the final Iranian text remains under internal discussion and has not yet been sent to the American side.

“The final text of Iran is still being discussed in Tehran the response has not yet been sent,” the Iranian outlet reported.

Trump Stays Optimistic About a Quick Resolution

US President Donald Trump has expressed confidence that a deal with Iran is within reach. He believes an agreement could come together “within the next week” a timeline that underscores growing urgency on the American side as both nations edge toward a diplomatic resolution.

How the Conflict Began and Where It Stands Now

The United States and Israel launched strikes against targets inside Iran on February 28. Iran responded with retaliatory strikes hitting Israel and US military bases across Gulf nations. Washington and Tehran declared a ceasefire on April 8, pausing the direct military exchange. Since then, both sides with Pakistan playing the role of mediator have been working on a full memorandum to end the conflict permanently.
