Oppo A6 GT Debuts With Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 Chipset Alongside Oppo A6i: Full Price and Specs

Oppo has expanded its A-series lineup in China by launching the Oppo A6 GT and Oppo A6i on Wednesday. These two new smartphones arrive shortly after the Oppo A6 Pro, further strengthening the company’s mid-range offerings. The Oppo A6 GT comes equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, and a massive 7,000mAh battery. In comparison, the Oppo A6i carries a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, a 6.67-inch LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, and a 6,000mAh battery. Both smartphones also include a 240Hz touch sampling rate for smoother responsiveness.

Oppo A6 GT, Oppo A6i Price and Availability
The Oppo A6 GT starts at CNY 1,699 (around Rs. 21,000) for the 8GB + 256GB option. It is also available in 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB storage variants, priced at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 22,300) and CNY 2,099 (around Rs. 26,000). Buyers can choose from Rock Mist Blue, Streamer White, and Colourful Pink finishes.

The Oppo A6i, on the other hand, is more affordable, starting at CNY 799 (about Rs. 9,900) for the 6GB + 128GB version. Its 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants are available for CNY 999 (around Rs. 12,400) and CNY 1,099 (nearly Rs. 13,600). The device comes in two shades — black and white.

The dual-SIM Oppo A6 GT runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15. It boasts a 6.8-inch 1.5K (1,280 x 2,800 pixels) AMOLED screen offering a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1,600 nits brightness. Security is handled by an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. On the back, it carries a dual-camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor with OIS and a 2-megapixel monochrome lens. The front houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The device measures 163.13 x 77.58 x 7.7mm, weighs 198g, and comes with a large 7,000mAh battery supported by 80W Super Flash Charge fast charging.

Oppo A6i Specifications and Features
The dual-SIM Oppo A6i also runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15. It features a 6.67-inch HD+ (1,604 x 720 pixels) LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and peak brightness of 1,000 nits.

It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. On the rear, the phone includes a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel monochrome lens, while the front offers an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

For connectivity, the Oppo A6i supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and also provides a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset measures 165.71 x 76.24 x 7.99mm, weighs 194g, and is backed by a 6,000mAh battery with 45W Super Flash Charge technology.
