Poco F7 Ultra made its global debut in March with Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and its successor is now in the spotlight.

The Poco F7 Ultra entered international markets in March this year as the brand’s premium flagship. Now, its successor, the highly-anticipated Poco F8 Ultra, has started creating buzz online. Fresh leaks have revealed several specifications of the upcoming model, pointing towards major improvements in battery life and performance. A popular tipster also suggested that the handset is already confirmed for a global launch, and India may be on the list too.
Poco F8 Ultra Specifications, Features (Leaked)
Well-known leaker Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata) recently dropped key details of the upcoming Poco F8 Ultra on X (formerly Twitter). According to him, the smartphone could run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, unveiled at the Snapdragon Summit 2025 on September 24. If true, this would place the Poco F8 Ultra alongside other upcoming flagship rivals from Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo, and Vivo.
One of the most exciting upgrades appears to be its massive 7,000mAh battery, compared to the Poco F7 Ultra’s 5,300mAh unit. The handset may also include 100W wired fast charging and wireless charging support. Display-wise, leaks suggest a 1.5K or 2K resolution LTPO OLED panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate, promising smooth visuals for gamers and streamers alike.
On the camera front, the Poco F8 Ultra is tipped to feature a triple-lens setup with three 50-megapixel sensors. The primary shooter will reportedly support optical image stabilisation (OIS), while the other two could be an ultrawide and a periscope telephoto lens. Up front, the phone may carry a 50-megapixel selfie camera, marking a significant jump from the 32-megapixel sensor on its predecessor.

Security could also see an upgrade with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Additionally, leaks claim that the Poco F8 Ultra might boast stronger speakers, enhanced haptics, and an IP69 rating, making it resistant to dust and water. The global launch has been reportedly confirmed, and India could also be one of the first markets to receive it.
To give some perspective, the Poco F7 Ultra, launched earlier this year, features a 6.67-inch WQHD+ flow AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,200 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. With the Poco F8 Ultra, the brand seems ready to push its premium flagship game even further.
