Ayodhya Deepotsav: Grand Two-Day Drone and Laser Show to Merge Faith and Technology

Ayodhya is set to host an incredible mix of faith, culture, and modern technology during the Deepotsav celebration. The glow of 26 lakh (2.6 million) earthen lamps on 56 ghats, including Ram Ki Paidi, will symbolize devotion and joy. Furthermore, a choreographed musical drone show and a 3-D holographic musical laser show will offer attendees a unique experience.

Ayodhya is ready to present a unique blend of faith, culture, and modern technology this Deepotsav 2025. This grand festival takes place on October 18 and 19.

The event will mesmerize devotees with a spectacular choreographed musical drone show. It will also feature a 3-D holographic musical laser show. These shows will complement the light from 26 lakh diyas on 56 ghats. Uttar Pradesh’s Tourism and Culture Minister shared this exciting information.

Enthusiasm for Advanced Technology Shows

The Tourism Minister noted huge public excitement for these cutting-edge shows. He stated, “Deepotsav-2025 has high anticipation for the choreographed musical drone show and 3-D holographic musical laser show.”

A fleet of 1,100 indigenous drones will depict various scenes from the Ramayana in the sky. These airborne images will create a stunning and divine spectacle.

The 3-D holographic musical laser show will use realistic-looking visuals. This technology will surely make the experience truly memorable for the audience.

Two-Day Grand Drone Show on October 18 and 19

The state plans to make Deepotsav 2025 even more magnificent and appealing. Hence, they planned this spectacular drone show using 1,100 drones. Due to the public’s unprecedented enthusiasm, the Tourism Department added an extra show.

A pre-Deepotsav show will now happen on October 18. Therefore, pilgrims and tourists visiting Ayodhya can enjoy the drone show and laser show for two evenings. The timing for both October 18 and 19 is 07:30 PM.

Ramayana Scenes to Light Up the Sky

The musical and light-filled laser show will portray the life and ideals of Lord Shri Ram. It will use advanced technology for its stunning visuals. The 1,100 indigenous drones will present various Ramayana episodes in the night sky. Beautiful formations include “Jai Shri Ram” and Lord Ram with his bow.

They also include Hanuman lifting the Sanjeevani mountain and the Ram Setu bridge. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple will also be featured. The show will conclude with a symbolic tableau of ‘Treta Yug to New Ayodhya.’ This finale connects the city’s spiritual past with its modern present.

The Focal Point of Attraction

Isha Priya, Special Secretary of Tourism, confirmed the public interest. She said, “The show with 1,100 drones and the 3D-holographic musical laser show will be the central attraction at Deepotsav-2025.”

The Tourism Department is trying its best. They want all devotees and pilgrims to fully enjoy these presentations. “Our aim is that no visitor misses the feeling of this grand and divine event in Ramnagari.”

She also noted the huge public response to the UPSTDC’s one-day ‘Deepotsav Special Tour Package.’ All seats filled up immediately after booking opened. This clearly shows that people nationwide are keen to be part of this divine festival journey to Ayodhya.
