PM Modi releases 21st instalment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi to beneficiaries at function in Coimbatore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi successfully transferred the 21st instalment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi. The event took place during a key Natural Farming Summit in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

PM-Kisan Instalment Transfer

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. He released the 21st instalment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. This transfer was made to the scheme’s dedicated beneficiaries at a major function. A massive sum exceeding ₹18,000 crore was involved. This money went directly to the bank accounts of nine crore beneficiaries.

Focus on Natural Farming

Prime Minister Modi also launched the Natural Farming Exhibition here. He then attended the South India National Farming Summit. The PM met and spoke with local farmers at the event. He thoroughly inspected the exhibition area. The exhibit showcased various key agricultural products. It also featured a dedicated corner for displaying plant and crop growth. Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi accompanied the Prime Minister.

South India Natural Farming Summit 2025

The South India Natural Farming Summit 2025 is a major event. It is scheduled to run from November 19-21. The Tamil Nadu Natural Farming Stakeholders Forum is organising this summit. The key goal is promoting sustainable practices. This includes eco-friendly and chemical-free agriculture. The summit wants to speed up the shift to natural farming. It views this as a viable and smart model for India’s future. The event will help create market linkages. This is for farmer-producer organisations and rural entrepreneurs. It will also highlight innovations in several areas. These include organic inputs and agro-processing. Eco-friendly packaging and indigenous technologies will also be showcased. Over 50,000 farmers are expected to join the programme. Participants will come from six states and one Union Territory. These include Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Telangana, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh.

Previous Stop in Andhra Pradesh

Earlier on the same day, PM Modi had visited Andhra Pradesh. There, he participated in the birth centenary celebrations. This was for Sri Satya Sai Baba. While addressing the large gathering, PM Modi made a profound statement. “Devotion without service, knowledge without compassion, and action without societal contribution hold no meaning,” he said.
