UP’s Aviation Sector Takes Off

The air travel numbers in Uttar Pradesh have significantly increased. An official statement released on Tuesday confirmed this impressive growth. It revealed that airports across UP handled 60.02 lakh passengers between April and August 2025.

This remarkable growth in passenger traffic is more than just statistics. It reflects Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s forward-thinking vision. This vision is part of his ‘Connected UP, Prosperous UP’ approach. The pace of this growth will accelerate further with the new international airport. This airport is currently under construction in Jewar, Noida. It will open up new connectivity opportunities for UP and its neighboring states.
