Bihar’s political temperature is soaring high at the moment. Amidst this, the BJP has once again targeted Rahul Gandhi following his “Voter Adhikar Yatra” in Bihar. BJP IT Cell chief Amit Malviya claimed that after completing the political tour in the state, Rahul Gandhi flew to Malaysia for a vacation, while also sharing a photo to back his remarks.

As Bihar’s election atmosphere heats up, every political party is making relentless efforts to consolidate its voter base. In the middle of these political maneuvers, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has now alleged that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has left the political battlefield behind to enjoy a holiday abroad. According to BJP IT Cell head Amit Malviya, after concluding the “Voter Adhikar Yatra” in Bihar, Rahul Gandhi is currently vacationing in Malaysia.
Malviya asserted that Rahul Gandhi has been spotted at the popular tourist destination Langkawi. Using this as an opportunity to attack the Congress leader, he posted a photograph of Rahul Gandhi on his social media handle X, suggesting that Gandhi chose leisure over addressing pressing political issues back home.
BJP’s Sharp Jibe at Rahul Gandhi
Sharing the image, Amit Malviya wrote that Rahul Gandhi has once again gone into hiding, this time secretly taking off to Malaysia’s Langkawi. He sarcastically remarked that the heat and dust of Bihar’s politics must have become unbearable for the Congress scion, compelling him to escape for rest. Malviya also hinted at the possibility of this being one of those “mysterious meetings” that are deliberately kept under wraps. He added, “While people are struggling with real issues, Rahul Gandhi seems to have mastered the art of disappearing and spending time on vacations.”
This is not the first time the BJP has launched attacks on Rahul Gandhi’s foreign visits. The party has frequently questioned his absences from the domestic political stage during crucial moments. So far, however, the Congress party has not responded to these fresh allegations or to Malviya’s social media post.
The ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’
Rahul Gandhi, along with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, recently completed the “Voter Adhikar Yatra” in Bihar, raising concerns over SIR (Special Summary Revision of the electoral roll) and alleged voter fraud. The journey began on August 17 and lasted for two weeks, covering more than 20 districts and stretching across nearly 1,300 kilometers. The yatra concluded on September 1, marking an extensive outreach campaign.
Soon after this political initiative came to an end, the photos of Rahul Gandhi’s Langkawi trip surfaced, giving BJP fresh ammunition to question his seriousness about political responsibilities. With elections inching closer, the debate over his frequent foreign trips has once again taken center stage in Bihar’s heated political landscape.
