Shinde’s Festive Visit and Key Discussions
Deputy Chief Minister Shinde arrived at PM Narendra Modi’s New Delhi residence today. He offered Diwali and New Year wishes to the Prime Minister. Shinde presented a shawl, a bouquet, and a Saint Tukaram Maharaj idol to Modi. The leaders discussed many important subjects concerning the state and the central government.
PM Modi on Alliance Strength
Prime Minister Modi emphasized that all NDA constituent parties should stay united in their thoughts. He stressed that the alliance must continue to function strongly. He also extended his Diwali greetings to the entire Shinde family. This meeting holds administrative and political significance. Discussions included state-center cooperation and strategies for upcoming projects.
Commitment to Development and Upcoming Polls
Shinde highlighted the alliance’s focus on development. He stated that Mahayuti and NDA are united on the development agenda. Speaking about the upcoming local body elections, he mentioned seat sharing and strategy. Senior leaders will take the final decision on these issues. He referred to these elections as ‘grassroots level elections’. Shinde urged restraint within the alliance on the ongoing dispute. The dispute is between Congress MLA Ravindra Dhangekar and BJP leader Murlidhar Mohol.
‘Modi Ka Mission’ Book Unveiling
BJP leaders and the book’s author praised PM Modi extensively on Friday. This was during the release function of the congratulatory book ‘Modi Ka Mission’. The event took place at the Raj Bhavan. Maharashtra Governor Acharya Devvrat stated Modi became PM through divine grace. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis attended the ceremony. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was also present. Legislative Council Chairman Ram Shinde was another attendee. Everyone tried to outdo each other in lauding the Prime Minister’s achievements.

Devvrat cited a verse from the Bhagavad Gita, ‘Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya’. This verse speaks of divine intervention when needed. Devvrat declared that Narendra Modi is more than just India’s Prime Minister. He is an idea, a spiritual power, an inspiration, and the nation’s pride. He asserted that a personality like his is achieved only through divine grace.
