Jan Suraaj party founder Prashant Kishor took aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday (October 25, 2025). Kishor stated that Bihar needs its sons back, not cheap mobile data. These young people left for employment opportunities. He alleged that the ruling parties at the Centre and in Bihar have failed to provide jobs.
Plea to Youth Amid Migration Crisis
Prashant Kishor addressed a public meeting in Dhaka, East Champaran. He alleged that the BJP and NDA governments are only busy with promotions. Meanwhile, the state’s youth must migrate for better opportunities. Kishor declared, ‘Bihar needs its sons back, not cheap data. They have gone outside seeking employment.’
Jan Suraaj’s Fight for Dignified Employment
The Jan Suraaj founder said his fight is for a developed and capable Bihar. He wants youth to get respectable jobs within their home state. Prashant appealed to Muslim voters to unite against the BJP. He urged them to ‘Stand up for your rights and vote for your children.’
Questioning Deputy CM’s Position
Kishor challenged Amit Shah regarding the Deputy Chief Minister. He asked Shah to ‘tell us how a person accused in seven murder cases remains Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister.’ His comment was directed at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Samrat Choudhary.
Kishor Accuses BJP of Poaching
Earlier, Kishor addressed a public meeting in West Champaran on Friday. He claimed that booth looting used to happen in Bihar before. Now, he alleged, Amit Shah is ‘looting candidates.’ He accused the BJP of trying to sway three or four potential Jan Suraaj candidates.
Supporting a Rebel Candidate
Prashant Kishor announced his support for Anoop Kumar Srivastava on Friday. Srivastava is a rebel BJP candidate in Bihar’s Gopalganj assembly constituency. Kishor further alleged that his party’s official candidate, Shashi Shekhar Sinha, withdrew his name. This withdrawal, he claimed, happened under pressure from the BJP.
