Taliban Declares Win Over Pakistan

Afghanistan-Pakistan Conflict has intensified. Taliban fighters declared themselves winners in the bloody clash with Pakistan. People are celebrating with Taliban fighters in many Afghan cities. Ordinary citizens said they would not tolerate Pakistan’s “evil eye” on Afghan soil. This fight is seen as the Afghan people’s answer to Pakistanis. This sentiment is strong in Khost, Nangarhar, Paktika, Panjshir, and Kabul.

Public Supports Army After Airspace Violation

Afghan news website TOLO News reported public support. The Afghan public praised their forces’ bravery in the conflict with Pakistan. They found Pakistan’s violation of Afghan airspace intolerable. Youths and tribal leaders gathered in many cities. They all supported the Afghan forces and Taliban fighters.

Kunar resident Daoud Khan Hamdard spoke out. He said, “If Pakistan had not violated our territory, Afghanistan would not be forced to attack them.”

Nangarhar resident Mohammad Nader shared his views. He noted, “Our borders touch other neighbors too. Yet, our relations with them have not soured. This shows the problem is with Pakistan, not us. Pakistan has always been a source of issues.”

Elders Vow to Sacrifice for Sovereignty

Tribal elders and religious scholars made a firm declaration. They would not tolerate violation of the country’s airspace. They were ready for any sacrifice against this violation.

A tribal elder from Kunar, Tawos Khan Akhundzada, warned Pakistan. He stated, “Afghanistan is the graveyard of empires. Pakistan must learn from Afghanistan’s history. They should stop harassing the Afghans.”

Paktia resident Muslim Haidari asserted their right. He said, “The Islamic Emirate and people of Afghanistan have a legal right to defend their land. They will defend every inch of their territory.”

Celebrations and Online Support

People took to the streets to celebrate the Taliban’s victory. They marked the recent “retaliation” against Pakistani forces at the Durand Line. A security-focused handle shared this detail. Another user noted that Taliban fighters were showing off weapons. These were allegedly seized from Pakistani soldiers during the clashes.

The ‘Afghan Defense’ handle reported on the public’s joy. It said people gathered to honor their troops after they “crushingly defeated” Pakistan.

Another user mentioned the support in Logar province. People there expressed joy for the Afghan army’s successful counter-attack against Pakistan.

Why the ‘Brothers’ Afghanistan and Pakistan Clashed

The recent clash occurred on the night of October 11-12, 2025. It happened along the Durand Line. Pakistan’s October 9-10 air strikes were the main reason. These strikes targeted Kabul, Khost, Jalalabad, and Paktika. The ruling Taliban called this a sovereignty violation. Pakistan claimed these attacks hit TTP hideouts. They alleged the TTP finds shelter in Afghanistan.

The Taliban responded to the Pakistani attacks. They counter-attacked 25 Pakistani military posts. Pakistan claimed they killed 200 Taliban fighters. They also reported 23 of their own soldiers died. However, the Taliban claims 58 Pakistani soldiers were killed. Trade is currently halted between both nations. Tensions are extremely high. Pakistan’s Defense Minister, Khwaja Asif, warned of a potential war. He said the fight could erupt any time.
