Xi and Trump Agree to Work More Closely Together
Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump held direct talks during the visit. The two leaders reached a clear understanding on moving forward together. China’s Foreign Ministry confirmed the outcome in an official statement on Friday.
“The leaders of the two countries agreed to strengthen interaction and coordination on international and regional issues,” the Foreign Ministry said in its statement.
