Trump’s Strategy on Tariffs and Conflict

United States President Donald Trump made a bold claim on Saturday regarding his foreign policy. He stated that he used tariff threats to stop five out of eight potential wars. He also mentioned that the US is collecting massive revenue from other countries. He implies this influx of money has significantly strengthened the American economy.

Claims Made on Social Media

Trump shared a strong message on his platform, Truth Social, regarding international conflicts. He insisted that he stopped five wars “directly because of the threat of tariffs”. He believes nations stopped fighting to avoid economic penalties.

Comments on Economy and Inflation

He wrote: “We are taking in TRILLIONS of Dollars in Tariffs and Investment Dollars from foreign lands because of Tariffs. I have stopped 5 of the eight WARS directly because of the threat of Tariffs if they don’t stop fighting or, better yet, if they start”.

Trump also criticized the previous administration regarding the economy. He claimed there is almost “no inflation” right now. He contrasted this with the past, calling it “the worst in USA History under Sleepy Joe Biden”.
