American entrepreneur and the world’s first trillionaire, Elon Musk, has urged US authorities to hand out money to citizens directly from the national treasury.

Musk’s Direct Appeal
American businessman Elon Musk now recognized as the world’s first trillionaire has called on US authorities to start distributing money to ordinary Americans straight from the treasury.
He shared his view on social media platform X, framing it as a simple fix to a looming economic shift. Musk argued that as long as growth in goods and services outpaces money supply growth something he expects with AI and robots inflation won’t be a problem. He went further, predicting deflation, not inflation, will be the real battle ahead.
Responding to Vance’s AI Remarks
Musk’s comment came as a direct response to US Vice President JD Vance. Vance had said in a recent interview that the White House plans to take control of every major AI company in the country.
Musk’s treasury proposal appears to be his alternative letting money flow directly to people instead.
A Record-Breaking Week for Musk
The timing adds extra weight to his words. Just last week, Musk became history’s first trillionaire on the very first day of trading following SpaceX’s IPO.
That milestone instantly reshaped conversations around wealth, technology, and economic power and now Musk is using that platform to push his vision for how AI-era prosperity should be shared.
