Machado’s Call to PM Modi and Praise for India

“I want to speak with Prime Minister Modi,” Machado declared. “I wish to invite him to a free Venezuela soon.” She also praised India’s democratic role. Machado emphasized the importance of keeping democracy strong. She mentioned drawing inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi’s non-violent fight. “Being peaceful is not weakness,” she said. “Gandhi showed this truth to the entire world.”

What Was Said About the 2024 Venezuelan Presidential Election?

Machado referenced the 2024 Venezuelan presidential election. She stated the opposition won by a significant margin. However, the Nicolas Maduro government then annulled the election.
