They also focused on restoring peace and stability. This included urgent measures at the Pak-Afghan border. Violence erupted after Islamabad demanded action. They wanted Kabul to curb terrorists. These groups were attacking Pakistan from across the border.

Taliban’s Rebuttal and Counter-Accusations

The Taliban rejected claims of sheltering terrorists. They instead leveled accusations at Pakistan. They alleged Pakistan was spreading false information. This was to destabilize Afghanistan. They also accused Islamabad of backing groups linked to Islamic State. Islamabad dismissed these counter-claims. They stated terrorists have a long campaign.
