US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth warns Tehran that the American military is ready to act if they continue seeking nuclear weapons.

The United States has once again sent a stern message to Iran. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth cautioned that the US military is fully prepared if Tehran attempts to build nuclear weapons. Hegseth made these remarks during a recent Cabinet meeting, emphasizing that the department will take any necessary steps. These actions will align with the vision of President Donald Trump. He also noted that the US is rapidly boosting its military strength in the Middle East to restore regional power.
‘Ready to Meet Trump’s Expectations’
The Secretary of War urged Iran to abandon its nuclear goals immediately. He stated that the War Department is ready to fulfill any task President Trump expects of them. Hegseth highlighted that when the President speaks, he intends to take serious action. He wants Iran to understand that the path to nuclear capability is strictly closed.
Hegseth also pointed to the recent capture of former Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro and his wife. He described this raid as the most successful operation in world history. According to him, no other military could execute such a complex mission. He praised the President for giving soldiers the freedom to achieve these historic results.
Reference to Operation Midnight Hammer
During his address, Hegseth mentioned “Operation Midnight Hammer.” This operation involved targeted strikes on Iranian nuclear sites under Trump’s orders. He reiterated Trump’s firm promise that Iran will never possess a nuclear bomb. Currently, the US Navy has deployed a massive force in the region, including the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.
Trump described this carrier group as a “massive armada” heading toward Iran. He stated the group is ready to finish its mission quickly and with force. The President warned the Iranian regime that time is running out. He stressed that a fair nuclear deal must happen soon to avoid further escalation.
