President Donald Trump has accused Colombia’s leader, Gustavo Petro, of actively boosting drug production. Trump stated that the drug trade is now the biggest business ever in Colombia.

US Army Sinks Drug Vessel
US President Donald Trump made a significant claim. He stated the US Army attacked and sank a vessel in the Caribbean Sea. This ship was reportedly carrying illegal drugs. During the operation, two terrorists were killed, Trump said. Two others were captured alive. They were sent back to their home countries, Ecuador and Colombia. Now, Trump is targeting Colombian President Gustavo Petro. He accuses Petro of promoting the drug trade. The president stressed that Colombia will no longer receive US subsidy.
Colombia’s Drug Trade is ‘Biggest Business’: Trump
President Trump posted his views on Social Truth. “Gustavo Petro, Colombia’s President, is a leader of illegal narcotics,” he wrote. “He is forcefully encouraging massive drug production.” This production is happening on large and small farms across Colombia. “This has become the biggest business in Colombia ever.”
‘Plan for Death and Destruction in America’
Trump asserted that Gustavo Petro is doing nothing to stop this. This is despite the large payments and subsidy Petro gets from the US. “Today, no kind of subsidy will be given to Colombia,” Trump declared. He said the narcotics produced are meant for huge sales in the US. This, he argues, will cause “death, destruction, and devastation.”
Petro Must ‘Stop Playing Game of Death’: Trump
Trump issued a strong warning. “Gustavo Petro is a weak and very unpopular leader,” he stated. “He holds a careless opinion about his people.” He told Petro, “Stop playing the game of death.” If he fails to stop, “the United States will close its doors to him.” Earlier, the American President called destroying the drug submarine an ‘honor’. He emphasized that US intelligence confirmed the vessel carried fentanyl and other illegal narcotics.
