President Trump claims he cautioned French President Macron that mass migration could bring serious harm to France, and that his warning has now come true amid ongoing unrest.

Trump Repeats His Migration Warning to Macron
US President Donald Trump said he had warned French President Emmanuel Macron that migration could cause lasting damage to France. He made the remarks during an appearance on a New York Post podcast.
Trump described Macron in friendly terms but stood by his blunt warning. “He’s a good guy, my friend. But I told him: You’re ruining your country with migration,” Trump said.
People Who “Hate” France, Trump Claims
According to the American leader, migrants from across the world have been arriving in France. He claimed some of these newcomers hate the country, its people, and its cultural heritage.
Trump added that this pattern is not unique to France. He said similar trends are visible across other European nations as well.
The US president also drew a contrast with his own country. He insisted such unrest has not occurred in America, crediting his administration for preventing it.
Protests Have Rocked France Since September
Unrest in France began in mid-September. High school students in Paris suburbs first took to the streets, demanding better conditions in schools.
The protests soon widened. People angry over rising prices joined the demonstrations, and the movement spread to other regions of the country.
The biggest demonstration took place on October 17. France’s Interior Ministry estimated roughly 550,000 people joined the nationwide march.
French police responded with tear gas, stun grenades, and water cannons during the protests. The clashes have continued to draw international attention, including sharp criticism from Washington.
