Trump Promises His Own Election Breakdown

US President Donald Trump says he wants to step into the role of political commentator. He plans to study why candidates won or lost in the midterm congressional elections.

“I’m going to become a Political Pundit, both good and bad, on the reasons these Candidates won and lost!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The post came as results rolled in from races across the country. Trump framed his upcoming analysis as covering both successes and failures.

No Names, No Timeline Yet

Trump did not say which candidates he plans to review. He also gave no date for when his election analysis would be ready.

The American leader left out many specifics in his Truth Social post. Voters and candidates alike are left waiting for his verdict.

Democrats Projected to Win Senate Majority

Meanwhile, fresh projections point to a Democratic win in the Senate. Bloomberg forecasts the Democratic Party will secure at least 51 seats in the upper chamber.

That count would hand Democrats a clear Senate majority following this year’s congressional elections. It marks a notable shift in the balance of power in Washington.
