US Forces Intercept Iranian Missiles Heading Toward Kuwait
American forces shot down several Iranian ballistic missiles and drones according to a statement from US Central Command (CENTCOM). The projectiles were reportedly launched toward Kuwait and Bahrain.
“Two Iranian missiles, fired at Kuwait, fell short or broke apart mid-flight. Three missiles launched at Bahrain were immediately intercepted by US and Bahraini air defense forces,” CENTCOM stated on social media platform X.
Kamikaze Drones Targeted Civilian Sailors in Regional Waters
Shortly before the missile intercepts, US forces dealt with another threat. American military units shot down three kamikaze drones allegedly launched by Iran. The drones moved toward civilian sailors legally navigating regional waters.
The US military acted swiftly to neutralize all three unmanned aerial vehicles preventing any harm to the vessels or their crew.

Middle East Tensions Escalate Further Overnight
The overnight incident marks yet another flashpoint as the broader US and Israeli military operation against Iran continues to intensify. The region has seen a sharp spike in confrontations stretching from Gulf waters to key strategic locations across the theater.
CENTCOM did not report any casualties or damage to assets on the US or allied side from either the missile attacks or the drone strikes. Bahraini air defense forces played a direct role working alongside US forces to bring down the missiles targeting their territory.
