Invitation Extended Amid China’s UN Presidency

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei confirmed the possible visit on Wednesday. He told the ISNA news agency that Abbas Araghchi received a formal invitation to attend the special session.

“With China’s presidency of the UN Security Council and that country’s plans to hold a special foreign ministers’ session to discuss peace and international security, our country’s foreign minister has also been invited to this meeting,” Baghaei said.
