Iran’s health ministry has broken its silence confirming that Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei’s injuries from the March bombings left his appearance completely unaffected.

Iran’s Health Ministry Speaks Out on Khamenei’s Injuries
Iran’s Health Ministry spokesperson Hossein Kermanpour has stepped forward revealing that Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei’s face and overall appearance remain fully intact. The injuries Khamenei sustained during the US and Israeli bombing campaign in March did not disfigure him in any way.
“The injuries of the Supreme Leader were not of the kind that would disfigure his face or overall appearance,” Kermanpour said in remarks carried by Iran’s official state news agency IRNA.
No Amputation, No Disability Ministry Confirms Recovery
Kermanpour went further stressing that Khamenei’s wounds resulted in neither amputation of any body part nor any form of permanent disability. The statement aimed to address growing public speculation about the leader’s true physical condition.
Earlier, Mazaher Hosseini the head of the protocol office of Iran’s Supreme Leader confirmed that Mojtaba Khamenei is steadily recovering. Hosseini detailed three specific injuries: a back wound, a knee injury, and a laceration behind his ear.
A New Leader, Still Out of Public Sight
Mojtaba Khamenei stepped into the role of Supreme Leader after his father Ali Khamenei was killed on the very first day of the US and Israeli strikes on Iran. Those strikes began on February 28. The younger Khamenei was formally elected to the nation’s top leadership post in the early hours of March 9.
Since his election, Mojtaba Khamenei has not appeared in public even once a fact that has fuelled intense speculation inside and outside Iran. His office has released several messages in his name either read aloud by television anchors or distributed in written form but no live or recorded video of the new leader has emerged.
