Participation is from Ayodhya and all of India.

Morning Rituals and Festive Spirit
Locals and saints in Ayodhya are backing the use of Swadeshi goods. They promote this for this year’s Diwali. Mahamandaleshwar Vishnu Das Ji Maharaj spoke to the news agency. He described the morning rituals. They began with lamps and sacred mantras. Devotees prepared for the Diwali festival. “We performed puja in the Bhamaro following Swasti mantras and sacred rules,” he explained. “First, a lamp was placed for Lord Ram.” Then one was lit for the Saryu River. Scriptures call Saryu the elder sister of Ram. Lamps were also set for Hanuman Ji, Mata Adi Shakti Maa Bhagwati Sita Ji, and the Ram Darbar. He concluded, “This is the start of lamp laying on the Saryu banks. It heralds a historic Diwali celebration in Ayodhya.”
