The statement confirmed this successful production. This modern, state-of-the-art unit opened on May 11, 2025. It integrates and tests the BrahMos missile. It also performs final quality checks. Missiles are prepared for Indian armed forces deployment after thorough testing.

CM Adityanath Highlights Employment and Revenue

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke on the occasion. He called this the “foundation of a self-reliant India.” He further mentioned the land acquisition. “So far, we have made available over 2,500 acres of land for this purpose in six nodes.” This effort has created over 15,000 jobs for state youth.

He also mentioned a GST payment. “Director general of BrahMos and the defence minister recently provided a GST check worth ₹40 crore to us.” The CM pledged more support to DRDO. “I told the DRDO again, ‘Tell me how much land you need; we will provide it for you here’.” He projected significant state revenue. “When 100 BrahMos missiles are manufactured each year, and the capacity will increase to 150 in the future, the state government will receive ₹150 to ₹200 crore annually through GST from these missiles.”
