The Bombay High Court’s Nagpur Bench rejected a plea on Monday. This petition challenged the Z+ security given to the RSS and Mohan Bhagwat. Chief Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Justice Anil S Kilor heard the case. They ruled the petition was “motivated” and misused the legal process.

Petitioner Lalan Kishor Singh cited Supreme Court rulings in his plea. He argued that Z+ security requires a proven security threat. Singh’s lawyer claimed public money should not be spent on RSS security. He asked the Home Ministry to recover these costs from Mohan Bhagwat.
