Videos of the woman’s furious reaction to the traffic snarls caused by the demonstration surfaced on social media on Tuesday

A woman in Mumbai recently confronted BJP MLA Girish Mahajan. She was angry about the massive traffic jam in Worli. The jam was caused by a rally regarding the women’s reservation bill.

Public anger at the rally

The incident took place during the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’ rally. The BJP organized this event to criticize opposition parties. They blamed the opposition for blocking the Constitution amendment bill in the Lok Sabha. This bill aims to give women 33 per cent reservation in legislative bodies.

Videos of the woman’s angry reaction went viral on Tuesday. She was seen telling the BJP MLA to “get out” of the area. “Get out of here. You are causing a traffic jam,” she shouted. She asked why they didn’t use a nearby open ground instead of blocking roads.

Viral footage sparks debate

The video spread quickly online and caused many reactions. People criticized the BJP for their protest methods in busy areas. The footage shows Mahajan trying to calm her down. However, she continued her protest. She said, “Did you not understand? What is wrong with you? There are hundreds of people waiting.”

When a police officer tried to stop her, she refused to listen. She demanded that nobody speak to her at that moment. Other videos showed very long lines of vehicles stuck in the area.

Social media backlash

An X user shared the traffic video with a sharp comment. They suggested the rally should be held at ministerial residences like Varsha Bungalow. They questioned why common people must suffer for political interests.

Congress calls out BJP’s ‘drama’

Harshwardhan Sapkal, Maharashtra Congress president, shared the video. He claimed the campaign showed the “real face” of the ruling party. He accused the BJP of tricking women for votes. He said they are pushing a “false narrative” on the reservation issue. Sapkal stated that the opposition already stopped the BJP’s plan to change electoral processes. He called the current rallies mere propaganda.

Yogesh Sawant of the NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) also posted on X. He called the nationwide protest a “tamasha.” He noted the march at Jambori Maidan caused massive congestion.

“Due to this march, there was massive traffic congestion at the location. One woman had been stuck in the traffic jam for several hours. This woman confronted the BJP leaders in the march and questioned them, and she even took down Minister Girish Mahajan’s dignity!” he said.

Public frustration grows

Nana Patole, former state Congress president, also shared the clip. He said the BJP’s “drama” is harassing regular citizens. He believe the woman’s anger shows how the public feels. He predicted that women across India would soon reject the BJP.
