Central Minister Prataprao Jadhav’s Car Wrecked in Road Accident; 3 Seriously Injured

Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav’s car met with an accident in Washim, Maharashtra. Three people were injured in the mishap and have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Minister’s Official Vehicle Involved in Washim Accident

The vehicle belonging to Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav was involved in an accident in Washim, Maharashtra. The central minister himself was not traveling in the car when the incident occurred. However, his bodyguard, the driver, and a colleague were badly hurt in the crash. The mishap took place near Rihora village on the Samruddhi Mahamarg (Expressway) in the Washim district.

Head-on Collision with a Truck

The vehicle was returning to Mehkar after dropping the central minister Prataprao Jadhav at Nagpur. It collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction. This impact resulted in a serious accident.

Three Injured Individuals Hospitalized

Those who sustained grave injuries in the accident include the central minister Prataprao Jadhav’s bodyguard, Nilesh Wakudkar, the driver, Bhushan Chopde, and his colleague, Vaibhav Deshmukh. Upon receiving news of the incident, local workers immediately arranged an ambulance. The injured were rushed to Life Line Hospital in Washim. All three individuals are currently receiving necessary medical treatment there.

Vehicle Badly Damaged in the Crash

The crashed car is officially registered under central minister Prataprao Jadhav’s name. As confirmed, the minister was absent from the vehicle at the time of the accident. The front part of the car has suffered complete damage and is utterly wrecked. Police are presently investigating the precise causes of this unfortunate incident. The minister could not be informed immediately about the accident. This was because the convoy was traveling back after leaving him at the Nagpur Airport.

Since 2009, he has been continuously elected four times to the Lok Sabha from the Buldhana constituency in Maharashtra.
