On the first day, Modi will reach Mizoram. At around 10 am in Aizawl, he will launch and lay the foundation for several projects worth over ₹9,000 crore. He will also address a public gathering.

Later, around 12:30 pm, the Prime Minister will reach Churachandpur in Manipur. Here, he will launch projects worth more than ₹7,300 crore and speak to the public. By 2:30 pm, Modi will move to Imphal, where he will inaugurate projects worth over ₹1,200 crore and address another gathering.

Participation in Bhupen Hazarika’s Birth Centenary in Assam

After completing his Manipur visit, Modi will head to Assam. At 5 pm in Guwahati, he will attend the centenary celebration of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika.

On September 14, Modi will launch and lay foundations for key infrastructure and industrial development projects worth over ₹18,530 crore in Assam. At 11 am in Darrang, he will perform foundation-laying ceremonies and address a gathering.

Later, around 1:45 pm, he will inaugurate the Numaligarh Refinery plant of Assam Bio-Ethanol Private Limited in Golaghat. Modi will also lay the foundation stone of a Polypropylene Plant in the district.

West Bengal to Host Commanders’ Conference

On September 15, the Prime Minister will visit West Bengal. At 9:30 am, he will inaugurate the 16th Joint Commanders’ Conference 2025 in Kolkata.

Launch of National Makhana Board in Bihar

Following the West Bengal tour, Modi will travel to Bihar. Around 2:45 pm, he will inaugurate the new terminal building at Purnia Airport. Along with this, he will lay the foundation and inaugurate projects worth nearly ₹36,000 crore. He will also address a massive public gathering in Purnia.

During the visit, Modi will launch the National Makhana Board. This board will promote modern production techniques, strengthen post-harvest management, and boost processing and value addition. It will also help expand domestic and global markets for makhana, supporting brand growth and export. Farmers in Bihar and across the country will benefit directly.

Bihar’s Dominance in Makhana Production

Bihar produces nearly 90 percent of India’s total makhana output. Districts like Madhubani, Darbhanga, Sitamarhi, Saharsa, Katihar, Purnia, Supaul, Kishanganj, and Araria are key production hubs. The region’s fertile soil and climate ensure premium quality.

With the establishment of the Makhana Board, Bihar’s makhana will gain stronger recognition on the global stage. The move is expected to give a big boost to both production and exports, strengthening Bihar’s presence in the worldwide market.
