NCP-SP’s Rohit Pawar Raises Serious Allegations of Rule Violations

Nationalist Congress Party-Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SP) leader Rohit Pawar made a serious claim on Tuesday. He alleged that authorities violated several conditions during the land transfer. This transfer was for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) new Maharashtra unit headquarters. The headquarters is located in South Mumbai.

Allegations of Irregularities in Land Deal

Pawar posted his allegations on the social media platform ‘X’. He claimed that officials overlooked many irregularities. This negligence happened because the land was for a BJP office. Union Home Minister Amit Shah laid the foundation stone on Monday. The plot is near the Churchgate railway station.

The NCP (SP) general secretary stated he met the BMC Commissioner. He discussed the matter in detail with Bhushan Gagrani. Party representatives were also present in this meeting.

Demand for a Thorough Land Investigation

Pawar mentioned they submitted a detailed memorandum. This document listed all their questions and objections. “The Commissioner assured us a written explanation soon,” Pawar stated. “We are now awaiting their official response.”

He stressed that this issue raises serious questions. It challenges the administration’s transparency. Pawar strongly demanded a deep investigation into the land allocation process. The NCP (SP) leader wrote, “This case involves valuable public land. Citizens have a right to know the truth.”

He urged the BMC to make all relevant details public. This includes information related to the lease and transfer. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis previously refuted all allegations. He addressed claims made by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut and Rohit Pawar. Fadnavis confirmed BJP bought private land near Churchgate station. He said the purchase followed all rules and secured all permissions.
