Farmers’ Aid Delay Sparks Ministerial Ire
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis held a cabinet meeting in Maharashtra. Several key decisions were finalized in this meeting. Angry ministers strongly rebuked administrative officers. This anger stemmed from the non-disbursement of farmers’ aid. Administration officials were claiming funds were already given to the farmers. However, District Collectors and many ministers disagreed with this claim. They stated that farmers were still complaining about not getting assistance. The Chief Minister handled the situation firmly. He directed officials to prepare a detailed report immediately. This report must show the quantum and type of help provided to farmers. Furthermore, today’s meeting included critical decisions on elections and judiciary matters.
