BGMI 4.1 Update Brings Major Changes
BGMI has made gameplay thrilling with its late 2024 update version 4.1. The winter theme arrived in early November. It is now better with new features and weapon balancing. You will see map adjustments and new events too. Frosty Funland and Metro Royale have returned to the game. The India-exclusive Anamika NPC brings big changes to the game.
Loot Truck, Map Changes and Weapon Fixes
The biggest change is the new Roaming Loot Truck. It moves around the map instead of standing still. Players get high-tier loot after destroying it. This increases both risk and rewards during the match.
New Hotspot in Erangel: The Boatyard
The old village between Rozhok and Ruins is now the Boatyard. It serves as a new Point of Interest. You can find Wild Berries here for health. They restore energy instantly and help in early fights.
Weapon Tuning for Fair Battles
Krafton made small but key changes to weapon abilities. AR and Shotgun damage is slightly reduced for balance. They increased the fire rate for Sniper Rifles. This makes long-distance fights much faster now. Bullet speed drops slightly over long ranges. This increases the value of skill-based shots. A new Hipfire Crosshair is also in settings.
Penguin Town, Anamika NPC and Metro Royale Returns
A new Penguin Town has been added to Erangel. It features mini-events, photo spots and Glacier Animal Marks. Players can find funny new items here. These include Magic Ice Skates and Ice-round Kar-98K. You also get a Salted Fish Launcher. Look for the Swordfish Syringe and 4-seater Penguin Snowmobile. The mythical penguin companion POWNIN is very special. It can teleport and throw shurikens at enemies. It heals itself and gives supplies to the team.
Anamika – Special Haunted Bride for India
This scary NPC appears in Erangel and the HUB. It refreshes every hour for new players. Defeating it rewards exclusive horror skins and loot. You can also get upgradeable weapons from it. Metro Royale mode is finally back in the game. It includes AI enemies and tough Elite Bosses. Enjoy chapter rewards, seasonal tracks and new milestones.
