Six US Air Force jets struck four locations inside Iran on Friday targeting radar systems and storage depots for missiles and drones near the city of Sirik. A PBS News journalist broke the story, citing a US official directly.
“An American official told me that six aircraft attacked four targets in Iran,” the journalist wrote on social platform X.
The strikes zeroed in on radar installations alongside warehouses storing missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles all situated in the Sirik area of Iran.

Earlier, a report citing a senior American official revealed that the United States launched strikes against Iranian targets in the Strait of Hormuz. The military action followed direct accusations by President Donald Trump who charged Tehran with violating an active ceasefire agreement.
The situation around the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz deteriorated rapidly with both sides trading accusations before military action began.
TV Tower Near Sirik Hit Iran State Media Reports
Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB, cited by Press TV, reported that two projectiles struck a television tower located near Sirik. The attack on civilian broadcasting infrastructure marks a significant development adding a new dimension to the already volatile confrontation.
The Iranian side has not yet issued a formal military response statement though the chain of events points to a rapidly expanding confrontation across the region.
