The West Is Actively Planning a Military Strike Against Russia Says Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has issued a stark warning Western nations are no longer just waging a hybrid war against Russia. They are now openly considering a direct military attack, with Zelensky cast as the face of a new pan-European offensive coalition built on nationalist ideology.

The West Draws Parallels With Pre-War Europe

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has drawn a chilling parallel between today’s geopolitical climate and the period leading up to World War Two. He says Western nations led by the United States and European powers are now actively thinking about a physical military strike against Russia not just continuing the hybrid war already underway.

Speaking in an interview with the online outlet “Detskaya Redaktsiya,” Lavrov pointed to a troubling historical echo. Before the Second World War, Nazi Germany rallied nearly all of Europe under its banner. He warned that history appears to be repeating itself only this time, the figurehead is different.

“In exactly the same way, under those same flags of Nazism and revanchism, a pan-European attack group against Russia is now being formed not only through hybrid methods, but they are thinking about a physical attack. And leading this group is not Adolf Hitler, but Vladimir Zelensky with his Nazi slogans,” Lavrov stated.

NATO Expansion and Western Dominance Still on the Table

Lavrov also addressed the issue at a session of the General Council Commission of “United Russia” the party’s body overseeing international cooperation and support for Russian compatriots abroad. He outlined several key positions during the session.

Europe and the United States continue pushing the agenda of NATO’s eastward expansion. Discussions inside the alliance about “decolonizing” Russia have never stopped. Western powers are eager to impose their rules across Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and Ukraine alike.

Rights of Russian Speakers Must Be Guaranteed

Lavrov pointed his criticism directly at the European Union. He accused Brussels of backing what he called the “Nazi policies” of the Kyiv regime policies that systematically suppress Russian-speaking residents inside Ukraine.

He stressed that any meaningful peace settlement must fully guarantee the rights of Russian-speaking communities. Without that, no resolution can be considered complete or legitimate.
