“The sides emphasize the importance of preserving military memorial sites located on each other’s territories sites that immortalize the memory of the fallen heroes of World War II,” the statement read.

Putin Arrives in Beijing for High-Level Talks
Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in China on May 19 for an official state visit. On Wednesday, the two leaders Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping held formal talks at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
The summit underscored the deepening of Russia-China ties not just on diplomatic and economic fronts, but also on the shared values of historical memory and wartime legacy that both nations hold dear.
