Apple has officially revealed the Apple Watch Series 11 along with the Watch Ultra 3 and Watch SE 3 at its grand ‘Awe Dropping’ event on Tuesday. The announcement was made alongside the launch of the iPhone 17 lineup, which includes the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The Apple Watch Series 11 takes over from last year’s Series 10, while the Watch SE series has been refreshed after three years since the release of the 2nd generation model in 2022.

Apple Watch Series 11, Watch Ultra 3, Watch SE 3 Price in India and Availability
The Apple Watch Series 11 begins at $399 (about Rs. 35,000) in the US, while its India price starts at Rs. 46,900. Buyers can choose between 42mm and 46mm variants in Jet Black, Rose Gold, Silver, and Space Grey aluminium finishes. A polished titanium case in natural, slate, and gold colours is also available, along with a Hermès edition in silver titanium, offered in 42mm and 46mm options.

Meanwhile, the Watch Ultra 3 is priced from $799 (nearly Rs. 71,000) in the US and comes in Black Titanium and Natural Titanium case finishes. Apple has also introduced fresh colour options for straps, including new Trail Loop bands, Ocean Bands, and Alpine Loop shades. The Hermès En Mer band also arrives in two stylish new variants.

For the more affordable option, the Watch SE 3 starts at Rs. 25,900 in India and $249 (roughly Rs. 22,000) in the US. It will be available in Midnight and Starlight aluminium cases.

All three watches – the Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3 – will officially hit stores on September 19, with pre-orders already live across India, the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, France, Germany, and over 50 other markets. The new strap options for the Series 11 will also be sold from September 19.

Apple Watch Series 11 Features and Specifications
Running on WatchOS 26, the Apple Watch Series 11 is powered by 5G and comes with two times tougher scratch-resistant glass. The screen uses Ion-X strengthened glass combined with a new ceramic coating that bonds to the surface at the atomic level using “physical vapour deposition.”

The smartwatch is made from 100 percent recycled titanium and aluminium, supports fast charging, and offers up to 24 hours of usage. It brings live translations, ECG, and irregular rhythm alerts, alongside the all-new Sleep score function that evaluates rest quality.

The major upgrade is the addition of Hypertension notifications. Using the optical heart sensor, the watch reviews vascular responses to heartbeats over 30 days. If irregularities appear, it alerts the user with a notification.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 Features and Specifications
The Watch Ultra 3 now supports 5G and showcases Apple’s biggest display on a smartwatch so far. The LTPO3 wide-angle OLED always-on display has bezels 24 percent slimmer, giving more active screen space without enlarging the case.

The device promises 42 hours of battery life in regular use and up to 72 hours in Low Power mode. GPS-enabled workouts can last up to 20 hours in Low Power mode. Fast charging is also supported, with 12 hours of use from just 15 minutes of charging.

New satellite connectivity now allows users to send SOS alerts, text friends or family, and share their location even without Wi-Fi or cellular coverage. The watch can automatically alert emergency services and contacts if it detects a severe fall or car crash while within satellite range. It also comes with the Sleep score system and Hypertension alerts seen on the Series 11.

Apple Watch SE 3 Features and Specifications
The budget-friendly Apple Watch SE 3 also receives 5G support and the latest sleep score feature. It now has an always-on display, previously reserved for premium models. The SE 3 is powered by the S10 chip, supports fast charging, and offers media playback along with live translation.

It provides ovulation estimates and body temperature tracking, though it misses out on the Hypertension alerts available on the other two models. Built with 100 percent recycled aluminium, the SE 3 also comes with glass that Apple claims is four times more crack-resistant.
