The iPhone 17 lineup made its debut at Apple’s ‘Awe Dropping’ launch showcase on September 9. The series introduces four models — the standard iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the all-new iPhone Air. Apple has confirmed that pre-bookings will open this Friday, with official deliveries scheduled to begin the following week. Every device in this generation comes with a ProMotion display, a 48-megapixel rear camera system, and an 18-megapixel front shooter. The iPhone 17 Pro, Pro Max, and iPhone Air are powered by the latest A19 Pro chipset, while the regular iPhone 17 runs on the A19 processor.
iPhone 17 Series: Pre-Booking and Sale Dates
Pre-orders for the iPhone 17 series in India will kick off on Friday, September 12, at 5:30 pm IST. Buyers will start receiving their devices from September 19. Interested customers can visit the Apple India Store online to book their preferred model once the window opens.
Alongside India, pre-bookings for the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max will also begin on September 12 in over 63 countries, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, China, France, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Türkiye, UAE, and Vietnam. Retail availability in these markets will begin on September 19. Additional global regions will get access from September 26.
iPhone 17 Series Price in India and Offers
The iPhone 17 price in India starts at Rs. 82,900, while the newly launched iPhone Air is tagged at Rs. 1,19,900. For the premium models, the iPhone 17 Pro begins at Rs. 1,34,900 and the iPhone 17 Pro Max is priced from Rs. 1,49,900.
Pre-bookings will be available on Apple’s official website. Customers can avail up to six months of no-cost EMI and enjoy up to Rs. 5,000 discount on select bank cards from American Express, Axis Bank, and ICICI Bank.
According to Apple India, EMI options start at Rs. 12,983 per month for iPhone 17 and Rs. 19,150 for iPhone Air. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max EMI plans start at Rs. 21,650 and Rs. 24,150 respectively. Additionally, buyers can receive exchange benefits up to Rs. 64,000 on eligible smartphones.
Those who pre-book can also pick up their devices directly from Apple’s flagship stores across India, including Apple BKC in Mumbai, Apple Saket in Delhi, Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru, and Apple Koregaon Park in Pune. The latest iPhones will also be sold on Amazon, Flipkart, and Vijay Sales.
