India Exposes Shehbaz Sharif’s Victim Card, Slams Pakistan on Terrorism at UN

At the United Nations, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spread falsehoods on “Operation Sindoor.” India, represented by diplomat Petal Gehlot, gave a strong rebuttal, exposing Pakistan’s history of terror sponsorship, sheltering Osama bin Laden, and running militant camps. India made it clear that there will be no distinction between terrorism and its sponsors, and bilateral issues will be resolved only through bilateral means.

India Rejects Pakistan’s False UNGA Narrative

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif tried to mislead the United Nations by claiming victory against India in “Operation Sindoor.” In response, India strongly dismissed his claims. Indian diplomat Petal Gehlot stated that the assembly had to witness “a bizarre theatrical display by Pakistan’s Prime Minister,” who once again glorified terrorism, which has remained the centerpiece of Pakistan’s foreign policy.

She emphasized that no amount of falsehoods could ever hide the facts. Gehlot reminded the UN that on 25 April 2025, Pakistan shielded its proxy terror group, The Resistance Front, after the massacre of tourists in Jammu and Kashmir. She underlined that Pakistan has long exported terrorism and shamelessly created the most absurd narratives to justify it.

Pakistani Military Pleaded to Stop the War

Petal Gehlot recalled that Pakistan had sheltered Osama bin Laden for a decade while pretending to fight terrorism. She also pointed out that Pakistan’s ministers recently admitted to running terror camps for decades. This duplicity now continues openly at the Prime Minister’s level.

She said, “A picture speaks louder than words.” During Operation Sindoor, India released images showing terrorists killed in Bahawalpur and Muridke camps. Senior Pakistani military officials openly glorified such terrorists, exposing their hypocrisy further. Sharif even distorted the details of recent clashes with India. The truth remains clear—Pakistan threatened fresh attacks until 9 May, but by 10 May, its army directly pleaded with India to halt combat.

“Hate-Monger Preaching About Faith”

Gehlot stressed that India had destroyed several Pakistani air bases during the operation, with images of ruined runways and burned hangars available publicly. She said, “If Prime Minister Sharif sees victory in these pictures, he is free to enjoy it.” She highlighted that Pakistan is again responsible for terror attacks on innocent Indians, while India only exercised its right to self-defense.

Gehlot added, “The Pakistani Prime Minister spoke of peace with India. If he is genuine, the way forward is clear. Pakistan must shut down all terror camps immediately and hand over wanted terrorists to India.” She described it as ironic that “a nation practicing hate, radicalism, and intolerance is preaching faith to this assembly.” According to her, Pakistan’s political and social discourse exposes its true nature, which it refuses to confront.

India Sends a Strong Global Message

India reaffirmed that all pending issues with Pakistan will be resolved bilaterally, with no space for third-party involvement. Gehlot clarified, “On terrorism, there will be no distinction between terrorists and their sponsors. Both will be held accountable. Nuclear blackmail will not be allowed to protect terrorism, and India will never bow to such threats.” She declared that India’s message to the world is clear: “Terrorism must not be tolerated under any circumstances.”

What Did Shehbaz Sharif Claim at the UN?

At the UNGA, Pakistan’s Prime Minister accused India of attacking innocent civilians in Pakistan, forcing their armed forces to retaliate. He raised the issue of the Indus Waters Treaty, accusing India of unilaterally suspending it and violating international law. Sharif asserted, “Any breach of the treaty amounts to an act of war against Pakistan. We will defend the rights of our people over these waters.”

Sharif also brought up Kashmir, claiming, “I want to assure the Kashmiri people that I stand with them, Pakistan stands with them, and soon India’s oppression in Kashmir will end.”
