Reports confirm that Abhishek Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Tilak Varma picked up knocks during the match against Sri Lanka. After the game, captain Suryakumar Yadav provided initial details, followed by a major update from bowling coach Morne Morkel during the press conference.

Which Indian players picked up injuries?
According to match reports, all-rounder Hardik Pandya bowled only the first over of Sri Lanka’s innings before walking off the field. Abhishek Sharma complained of pain in his hand and also left the field midway through the innings. Meanwhile, Tilak Varma appeared to suffer from a hamstring issue. Captain Suryakumar Yadav later addressed these injury concerns.

After the match against Sri Lanka, Suryakumar Yadav said, “Many of our players suffered cramps during the game. But we are confident that with one day left before the final against Pakistan, they will recover fully and play the match in proper fitness.”

Following the India-Sri Lanka match, India’s bowling coach Morne Morkel also answered questions about player injuries in a press conference. He revealed, “The players mainly suffered cramps. Abhishek Sharma has already recovered, while Hardik Pandya is under medical supervision. He is also expected to be fit for the final.” However, Morkel did not give any specific update regarding Tilak Varma’s condition.
