Prime Minister Narendra Modi has officially launched BSNL’s indigenous 4G network, promising high-speed internet to every corner of the country. With this rollout, citizens across India can now enjoy faster connectivity. Following the 4G launch, BSNL is expected to introduce 5G services for the general public, though the official launch date for 5G is yet to be announced.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the BSNL 4G network today (27 September) in Odisha, alongside multiple development projects. This new 4G network will enable people across India to access fast and reliable internet. BSNL has deployed the 4G network across 98,000 sites nationwide. The most remarkable feature of this network is that it is built entirely using indigenous technology. Its design allows an easy upgrade to 5G in the future, positioning India among the top five countries manufacturing telecom equipment domestically.
PM Modi described India’s homegrown 4G network as a milestone towards self-reliance. He emphasized that this network will deliver world-class telecommunications services to every part of the country.
