Houthi Rebels Claim Attack On Abha Airport In Saudi Arabia

Yemen’s Houthi movement claims an attack on Abha airport. It also says it struck a nearby Saudi air base with missiles and drones.

Houthis Announce Attack On Abha Airport

Yemen’s Houthi movement, known as Ansar Allah, claimed an attack on Abha airport in Saudi Arabia. The group rules northern Yemen and says it also hit an air base in Khamis Mushait. Reuters news agency first reported the claims.

How The Houthis Describe The Attack

The Houthi statement said fighters used ballistic missiles and drones in the attack on Abha airport. The group also said it struck the Khamis Mushait air base with the same weapons and method.
