Israeli army stated that after stone-pelting incidents injured two Israeli citizens, soldiers reached the village. The army confirmed that its forces are still present in the area, conducting searches and questioning residents.

Raid on Oscar-Winning Director’s Home
Palestinian Oscar-winning filmmaker Basel Adra revealed that Israeli soldiers raided his home in the West Bank on Saturday. He stated that they interrogated him, checked his wife’s phone, and searched his property. According to Adra, Israeli settlers attacked his village earlier, injuring his two brothers and a cousin.
Family Members Injured and Detained
The director explained that he went to the hospital with his injured relatives. While there, his family members informed him that nine Israeli soldiers stormed into his house. He said that during the raid, the soldiers questioned his wife Suha in detail, examined her phone, and kept their nine-month-old daughter inside the house. He also mentioned that the troops briefly detained one of his uncles before releasing him.
Israeli Army Surrounds the Village
Adra shared that he could not return home and was unable to meet his family, as soldiers surrounded the village throughout the night. He feared that he too might be detained if he entered. Meanwhile, the Israeli army clarified that its presence followed incidents of stone-pelting by Palestinians, which left two Israeli citizens injured. The army further stated that its forces continue to search the village, question locals, and monitor the situation closely.
