Russia’s Warning Is a Declaration, Not a Threat: Mercouris

British military analyst Alexander Mercouris made a pointed observation. He said Russia’s Foreign Ministry warning about continuing retaliatory strikes on Kyiv carries a specific meaning. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Mercouris stated clearly

“Some are calling this an ultimatum. It is not an ultimatum it is a declaration of intent.”

Every Addressee Must Take Moscow’s Words Seriously

Mercouris stressed that all those named in the statement must treat it with full responsibility. He noted that Moscow’s response to Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on civilians will now be far more severe.

“Let me repeat these people, diplomats, foreign nationals, residents of Kyiv were not given an ultimatum. They were warned about what will happen,” he concluded firmly.
