During his speech at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, US President Donald Trump expressed concerns about global conditions. He stated that the United Nations no longer plays any significant role in world affairs. “The United Nations has not stopped any war. I ended seven wars, including India-Pakistan,” Trump asserted.

Trump began his address facing a glitch in the teleprompter, which malfunctioned at the start. Commenting on the situation, he said, “The teleprompter is not working.” He then joked that it did not bother him, adding, “If it doesn’t work, you speak more from the heart. Whoever is running this teleprompter is in big trouble.” After this remark, he continued his speech with emphasis on international conflicts and peace.

Reiterating his old claims, Trump said, “In nine months, I stopped seven wars. I prevented war between India and Pakistan. I also ended hostilities among Arab nations.” Speaking on the Gaza issue, Trump urged, “Hamas must release all hostages.” He also demanded an “immediate ceasefire in Gaza.”

Trump criticized Russia’s war funding, claiming, “India and China are funding Russia in the Ukraine war.” He called upon European nations to halt oil imports from Russia, stressing, “All energy purchases from Russia must end immediately.” He further warned that Europe is being ruined by illegal migration and raised alarm over rising drug trafficking. “We will eliminate the drug cartels. Strict action will be taken against drug smuggling,” Trump said.

Shifting to America’s progress, Trump proclaimed that his country is entering a golden era. “The United States is only for Americans,” he said proudly, praising his government’s tariffs policy as a historic decision. He also underlined his vision of Nobel recognition, remarking, “For me, the Nobel Prize is saving people’s lives.”

Trump emphasized that several European nations still indirectly fund Russia, and he promised to discuss this matter with European leaders. Concluding his speech, he painted an optimistic picture of America’s rise, stating firmly that the nation stands stronger than ever before.
