US Forces Target Suspected Drug-Trafficking Boat in Eastern Pacific

The United States military carried out a fresh airstrike targeting a vessel allegedly carrying drug traffickers in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The strike was confirmed by the US Southern Command on June 4, 2026. Two men identified as narco-terrorists lost their lives in the operation.

The vessel had been travelling along well-known drug-trafficking routes in the eastern Pacific. According to military officials, the boat was actively involved in narcotics transportation operations before the strike.

Two Killed, No US Casualties Reported

“In the strike, two men narco-terrorists were killed. US servicemembers were not harmed,” the military stated via a post on social media platform X.

The operation marks yet another instance of the US military taking direct action against suspected drug-trafficking networks operating across Pacific waters. No further details about the type of aircraft or weapons used in the strike were immediately disclosed.

This latest operation follows a similar strike reported on May 9, 2026 when the US military previously hit a boat carrying alleged narco-terrorists in the Pacific. The back-to-back operations suggest an intensifying campaign against drug-trafficking networks in the region.
