The Oppo Find X9 lineup is gearing up to succeed the Oppo Find X8 series and is expected to launch in China soon. Before its official unveiling, the standard Oppo Find X9 has now surfaced on an Indian regulatory site, strongly suggesting that the smartphone will arrive in India in the near future. Recently, Oppo also teased the design, colour options, and camera features of the upcoming series, building excitement among fans.
Oppo Find X9 With Model Number CPH2791 Spotted on BIS
A new Oppo smartphone carrying model number CPH2791 has been listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, according to tipster Sanju Choudhary. Reports confirm that this model corresponds to the Oppo Find X9 and the listing date shows September 19. The BIS entry does not provide details about its specifications, but it confirms that the device is nearing its India release as the official follow-up to the Find X8.

For context, BIS is the national body responsible for certifying and approving products before manufacturers can launch them in the Indian market. This certification ensures product quality and safety before availability to customers.
Oppo has already revealed that the Find X9 lineup will be officially introduced in China on October 16, and pre-bookings for the devices have already started. The phones are expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, a processor designed to compete with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
The Oppo Find X9 is confirmed to feature a massive 7,000mAh battery, while its Pro sibling will come with a 7,500mAh unit. Just like its predecessor, the new lineup will sport Hasselblad-powered rear cameras. The Oppo Find X9 Pro is teased to carry a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with f/2.1 aperture and 70mm focal length, alongside a dedicated Hasselblad Professional Photography Kit.

The company has also revealed the colour variants of the upcoming models. The standard Oppo Find X9 will arrive in Mist Black, Frost White, and Velvet Titanium shades. The Find X9 Pro, meanwhile, will be available in Frost White and Velvet Titanium options. These choices reflect a premium design language consistent with Oppo’s flagship series.
