Delhi High Court was thrown into chaos on Friday after an email threatened to blow up the court premises. The alarming message prompted immediate action from the Delhi Police, who swiftly evacuated the entire complex and tightened security. The email arrived on Friday morning and mentioned clearly that “Holy Friday is linked with blasts through Pakistan-Tamil Nadu nexus” while warning authorities to vacate the premises by 2 PM.
Email Mentions ISI Link and References Old Attacks
According to the threatening mail, an individual allegedly contacted Pakistan’s ISI and conspired to repeat incidents similar to the 1998 Patna blasts. The message also contained derogatory remarks about political leaders and the RSS. Along with this, the mail provided a mobile number and information about a suspected IED device, raising further alarm among security officials.
Police Teams and Bomb Squad Conduct Search Operation
The suspicious email triggered panic within the court administration and security agencies. Immediately, bomb disposal squads and police units reached the site and began thorough searches across the court premises. Every corner of the complex was checked to ensure safety.
Cyber Cell Probing Source of Threatening Mail
The Delhi Police have launched a full-scale investigation into the matter. At present, the cyber cell is tracking the origin of the threatening email and working to identify the individuals involved. Officials confirmed that every detail is being examined carefully to rule out any possibility of risk.
