NDA has finalized its seat sharing formula for Bihar elections. BJP and JDU will contest 101 seats each, LJP 29 seats, RLM 6 seats, and HAM 6 seats. Chirag Paswan said the seat distribution was done amicably.

NDA Finalizes Seat Sharing for Bihar Elections
The NDA has finalized the seat-sharing arrangement for the Bihar assembly elections. After a marathon meeting in New Delhi, it became clear how many seats each party will contest. BJP will contest 101 seats, JDU 101 seats, Chirag Paswan’s LJP (R) 29 seats, Upendra Kushwaha’s RLM 6 seats, and Jitan Ram Manjhi’s HAM 6 seats. Bihar BJP in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan said that NDA partners completed seat allocation in a friendly and cooperative environment.

BJP and JDU to Contest Equal Seats
The NDA seat-sharing arrangement makes it clear that the “big brother-small brother” dynamic is over this time, as both BJP and JDU have received 101 seats each. Bihar BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal had earlier hinted at this. After a meeting in Patna, he stated that no party will play the role of a senior or junior partner in this election.
Chirag Paswan Confirms Amicable Seat Distribution
After the seat-sharing formula was finalized, Chirag Paswan posted on X, saying, “We, the NDA family, have completed the seat-sharing for the Bihar Assembly elections 2025 in a cooperative and friendly manner.”
